Northrop Grumman Space Systems Payload and Ground Systems Division in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to update and implement new RADAR data processing algorithms into the existing MATLAB model, called "System Bench," of our Space Radar Data Processing Element (DPE).

This position is for joining an existing team of System Bench (MATLAB Radar Processing) engineers to support our development, production, and on?orbit Space Radar Payload programs.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics with 8 years of related experience or 6 years with a Masters Degree
• Experience with modeling RADAR data processing in MATLAB
• Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to maintain SCI approval / access.

Preferred Qualifications

Primary Level Salary Range : $131,100.00 - $196,700.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
