Proficient-to-expert knowledge of C4D (preferably Octane render engine) depending on project placement. For certain job placements proficiency in AE scripting Figma and / or UI / UX may be preferred. Ability to develop custom designs and animations from original concepts or that derive from style guides existing graphics packages and / or references provided by art directors. Ability to adhere to communicated file naming conventions and shared organizational guidelines. Able to accommodate non-standard work hours holidays and weekends as needed. Proactive detail oriented organized and accountable with the ability to perform in a highly collaborative setting. Confidence in a fast-paced environment Flexibility when faced with new information needs or challenges Ability to ask questions and communicate with art directors and creative producers when uncertain a current assignment or when ready for the next one. Willingness to invest in understanding the business of the NFL to better support and enhance how the League serves our clubs and engages our fans. Up to 7-month employment period 40 hours / week expected. 7-month employment is not guaranteed and may be impacted by business needs. The Media Design Group will be as communicative as possible about the duration of your employment period and provide notice of your end date at least a week in advance with all efforts being made to provide as much notice as possible. Flexible schedule is a must including weekends holidays early mornings and late nights. Limited overtime is possible.
Overview / Objective
The NFL Media Design Group is seeking a Sr. Designer-Animator to design and animate graphics and other design-based assets supporting shows events special programming or emerging platforms. This work is primarily focused on generating new concepts designs and ideas often requiring multiple rounds of iteration and executing animation at a very high-production value under the direction a team of an Art Director and Creative Producer.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize design and ultimately animate specialized high-production values graphics for the various groups serviced by the Media Design Group working closely with the projects art director.
- Help set and then meet timeline expectations allowing adequate time for design revision and execution with the projects creative producer.
- Be able to work with deadlines that can be as short as same day leveraging existing toolkits or unique assets with the guidance of the projects art director and creative producer to deliver on time.
