How you will make an impact : The Manager of Dietary / Food Services is responsible for managing and coordinating all activities of the Food Service Department which includes providing nutritional and attractive meals for patients and facility employees, maintaining an organized and sanitary environment, monitoring supply inventories and purchasing of food and supplies as required, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies and managing an effective food service staff.

Qualifications Education : High School Diploma or equivalent required. Degree in Food Services Technology / Management or related field preferred. Registered Dietitian or Certified Dietary Manager a plus. Licensure : Food Handler's certificate. Experience : Five (5) years of demonstrated responsible food service experience with at least two (2) years in a management / supervisory Management of a foodservice unit for a Joint Commission Accredited hospital, 50 beds or more, a plus. Training : Successful completion of Handle with Care training must occur within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting in any restraining procedures. CPR certification required. May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
